Focusing on Social Communication, Executive Functioning, Career Development, and Self-Advocacy
Job Description
At LIFE, we provide virtual and in-person therapeutic coaching to adolescents and adults with ADHD, Autism, developmental disabilities, anxiety, and other unique circumstances. We work alongside neurodivergent people who think differently, learn differently, and experience the world differently.
Our clients are intelligent, thoughtful, and capable. Many of them have strong ideas, interests, and goals for their lives. What often makes things feel harder is not a lack of ability, but a mismatch between how they naturally think and the unspoken expectations of the world around them.
A big part of our work is helping clients make sense of those expectations in a way that is clear, practical, and usable. When things are broken down into understandable patterns and strategies, it often unlocks a new level of confidence, independence, and follow-through.
We seek first to understand each client’s experience, thinking style, and patterns so we can get to the root of what is getting in the way and provide the most effective tools and strategies to support meaningful progress toward their goals.
Our role is not to “fix” anyone. Our role is to teach skills, build insight, increase flexibility, and help people leverage their strengths to create meaningful, self-directed lives. We take a “do with, not do for” approach, providing support while building independence so clients gain the confidence and skills to navigate their lives without becoming dependent on support.
We are not task-driven coaches. We are transformational coaches. We care deeply about mindset shifts, increased self-awareness, growing autonomy, and long-term independence. We celebrate when a client recognizes something new about themselves, advocates for the first time, or becomes disappointed that they missed an opportunity, because that tells us growth is happening beneath the surface.
We are looking for professionals who understand that real progress is often subtle, layered, and built through trust.
